Torsdagsfoto: Färgsprakande/Sparkle of colours

Förra året kollapsade minneskortet på en av mina kameror och i väntan på ett nytt kort så ropade jag in en begagnad kamera på tradera. Kameran kom hem två veckor snabbare än minneskortet men ett problem råkade jag ut för och det var detta med bildöverföring till datorn eftersom ingen usb-kabel följde med kameran och ingen av dem jag hade liggandes hemma passade. Sagt och gjort, in till närmsta stad för uppsökande av kamerabutiker och databutiker i jakt på en usb-kabel, men där kammade man noll så ut till nästa stora köpcentra och japp i en av butikerna fann jag råd i form av en multikontakt. Prisade vare uppfinningsrikedomens moder, denna usb-kabel funkar till båda mina kameror :)

Last year the memorycard on my camera collapsed and in wait for a new card a camera were bought second hand on the auction site tradera. The camera arrived two weeks earlier than the memorycard but a proplem occured, no usb-cable were slipped into the parcel. Well said and done, I took of to the nearest town in hunt for a usb-cable and searched in both camera stores and computer stores but everywhere I went there was a big no no. What´s there to do else then to head of to next large shoppingarea and voila there it was this multiconnection cable. Priced be the mother of invention, this usb-cable is fully operational with both my cameras.

Heads or Tails: Light or Dark/Ljust eller mörkt

Vattnet ser verkligen mörkt ut i jämförelse med den ljusa snön. Och om det inte vore för den ljusa snön skulle det vara riktigt svårt att få syn på änderna som bär en mörkt brun fjäderklädnad.

The water looks really dark in comparison with the light snow. And if it weren´t for the light snow it would have been really difficult to spot the ducks that are wearing a coat of dark brown feathers.

2nd Time Around, Ruby Tuesday, Macro Lovers: Porslin/China

Jag har ju inställningen att bruksföremål skall användas vare sig de är nya eller gamla men trots detta har jag samlat på mig en hylla med porslinsföremål som endast står som prydnad och dessa varierande ting har alla gemensamt att de har dekorationer i form av rosa blommor. Här nedan kan ses ett exempel på en sådan blomstermålning och föremålet just denna sitter på är en saltströare.

I do have the opinion that things made for use shall be used either they are old or new and dispite that I´ve ended up with a shelf with various porcelain items just for decoration and they all have in common that they are decorated with small pink flowers. Below can be seen such a floral painting and the item this one is attached to is a container for salt. 

Color Carnival

Även om jag börjar längta så smått efter våren så måste jag säga att vintern är vacker somliga dagar.

Even if I´ve started to long for spring I have to admit that winter sure is beautiful some days.

Monochrome Weekend

Jag har verkligen haft svårt att välja ut en favorit bland de svartvita kort som tagits under veckan så ni får stå ut med en post med fyra foton denna gång.

I have difficulities picking out this weeks favourite among the b/w:s I´ve taken during the week so for this post I ended up with a total of four images.

Musikfoto: LOVE

Ja imorgon är det ju alla hjärtans dag och temat för musikfoto är love eller kärlek. En stor kärlek hyser jag till naturen så därför tänkte jag bjuda på bilder av hur föränderlig naturen kan te sig under olika årstider och lyssnar ni noga så skall ni höra att melodin inte bara handlar om vänskap utan att även årstiderna nämns.

Tomorrow is Valentines day and the theme for todays musicphoto is love. I do love nature and therefore I have made a collage to show how versatile nature can be over the seasons of the year and if you listen carefully you won´t just hear a tune about friendship the seasons also gets mentioned.

Inspiration och kreativitet: Fototeknik/Photo technique

Att laborera med avstånd och skärpedjup kan vara lite skojigt eftersom samma motiv kan se så olika ut beroende på var man lägger fokuspunkten. Här ett exempel på när jag placerat fokus i förgrunden och ett där fokus placerats i bakgrunden.

It can be fun to laborate with distance and the depth of a picture since a motif can differ a lot depending on were the point of focus is placed. Here one example were focus is placed in front and one exemple were focus is put in the back. 

Arkiverat #6

Dagens arkiverade bilder är fotograferade i september 1995 och är faktiskt tagna på en kyrkogård i samband med att de precis hade färdigställt detta dammbygge, efter att dammbygget var färdigställt anlades även en liten lund med bänkar där man kan sitta och filosofera. Många kan nog förundras över att man gör åverkan på en kyrkogård där anfädrer lagts för den sista vilan, i detta fallet tycker jag nog dock att den rofyllda plats som en kyrkogård utgör fick sig en förändring till det bättre.

Todays prictures from the archive herists from september in 1995 and is actually taken at a cemetary at a point when this damb just got finished, later on a grove with benches has been arranged close by the damb where one can sit down and reflect over this and that. Some people might think that changes not shall be made on a place were ancestors have been laid to rest, in this case though I think the peaceful cemetary have changed into the better.

Weekend Reflection

Solen sken idag och skuggorna som kastades på snön var imponerande. Förstorar du den andra bilden kanske du även upptäcker svanarna som precis håller på att passera kröken på ån.

The sun were up today and the reflections in the snow were impressive. If you enlarge the second image you might discover the swans about to pass the creek of the stream.

Skywatch Friday

Lite synd på den röda reflexen annars tycker jag det blev en riktigt trevlig bild av solen som sken idag.

Part from the red reflex I think this image of the sun that were up shining today turned out quite well.

Fredagsfärger:Lila och beige/Purple and beige

Det kan ju vara trevligt att blanda olika färger när man klär sig men jag ställer mig tveksam till kombinationen lila och beige.

It can be nice to mix different colours when dressing up but I don´t think I really like the mix purple and beige.

Vintage Thingies THursday, Torsdagsfoto: Hantverk/Handcraft

Temat för dagens torsdagsfoto är hantverk och föremål som passar in på det temat har jag åtskilliga hemma av varierande slag. Ett föremål jag nyttjar dagligen under den årstid som är mörk är en lampahållare med en skärm tillverkad av näver, undrar hur många timmars arbete tillverkaren av denna lade ner...det måste vara ganska många för det är så otroligt mycket små detaljer. Omodernt med näverslöjd idag? Ja kanske, men onekligen trivsamt.

I have lots of items off various kinds at home the fits in well  on the description handcraft wich is the theme for todays thursdaysphoto. One item I use on a daily basis during the dark season of the year is a lampholder with a shade made out of birch bark, I wonder how many hours of work that lies behind this piece...it has to be lots because lots of details there are. Is birch bark art unmodern today? Yes perhaps, but without a doubt I find it pleasant.

Watery Wednesday

Jag börjar bli lite trött på snö och kyla vid det här laget ändå kan jag inte undgå att emellanåt stanna upp och se alla vackra detaljer som finns i vinterlandskapet.

I´m starting to get tired of the days when the snow fall densily and the days when the temperature drops heavily but still I can´t help to stop from time to time and watch all the beautiful little details out there in the wintery landscape.

2nd Time Around

Begagnade saker har jag av många olika slag och idag tänkte jag att jag skulle visa en liten apa jag köpte på loppis för ett antal år sedan. Man kan inte annat än bli glad när man ser den här och det passar ju bra så här i alla hjärtans tider.

I do have lots of things from the second hand market and today I want to show you a little monkey I bought at a fleemarket some years back. This is a monkey that usually puts a smile on the face of the viewer and that suits well at a point when valentines day is up ahead.

Återigen har det varslats snö så som kontrast till det som möjligen komma skall så bjuder jag idag på ett blomkollage passande veckans olika färgteman. Ett färgspel värt att vänta på och nog passar väl blommor bra så runt alla hjärtans dag.

Yet again the weather forecast spells snow so as a contrast to what may come I bid you a mosaic of flowers the suits the weeks different colourthemes. A colour cascade worth waiting for and flowers does suit well so here around valentines day I think.

Till dagens tisdagstema fick det bli en arkivbild, den gråa kaninen finns inte längre med oss men de vita har vi kvar.

The theme for todays tuesday theme recuired a dive into the archive, the grey bunny is no longer with us but we still have the two white ones.

Arkiverat #5, Camera critters

Oj vad klockan tickar redan efter 19.00 och jag har inte scannat något foto förrän nu, men nu ligger det på plats. Dagens bild är på ett för mig kärt djur som nu finns i kaninhimlen bland en massa grönt gräs att hoppa runt på. Maja som kaninen hette fick jag som present i december år 2000. Att jag fick Maja som present i samband med en födelsedag har på ett vis samband med flytten till vårt hus och att min sambo skaffade sig ett par undulater, i förbifarten nämnde jag nog att om han ska ha fåglar så kan jag minsann ha en kanin och vips så fick jag ett paket på min födelsedag. Var hon inte söt?

Oh what times flies away already passed 19.00 and I have not scanned a phot until just now, but now it is in place. Todays image is for me a dear pet that has passed away to bunny-heaven among all the green grass to jump around in. Maja as the bunny were namned were given to me as a birthdaygift in december in 2000. The reason why Maja were given to me at my birthday is in a way connected to the move to our house, at that point my fiance adopted a pair of budgies and at some occasion I happend to mention that if he can keep caged birds then I can have a bunny and voila I got a gift at my birthday. Cute weren´t she?

Det har varit ett par dagar med förhållandevis låga temperaturer så frosten har nu försvunnit från buskarnas grenar och kvar är bara de större snöklumparna.
